When natural lawns are used in major commercial locations like sporting arenas, school playgrounds and places of business they require the employment of manpower to maintain the lawn. Use of artificial turf eliminates the use of labor and saves enormous amounts of money therein. It does not even require machines like lawn mowers. In sporting facilities, the smooth and soft texture of the artificial turf avoids physical abrasions or injuries faced by sportspersons. It also discards the possibility of wear and tear of soles of the shoes worn by the athletes. Natural grasses may vary in their texture and quality according to the weather conditions of the particular place but artificial lawns are untouched by any kind of harsh climatic weather conditions. Certain modern artificial turfs may also come with additional features like special UV coating that protects the lawn against harsh ultraviolet rays of the sun. Hence it is a smart choice to go for synthetic lawns that may require a bigger initial investment as compared to its natural counterpart, but require no more expenses in future because of its low or no maintenance features as opposed to natural grass.
